BioTrust

We have committed up to $2.17 million to BioTrust, which is building a trusted access customer verification and credentialing platform to secure the frontier AI and life science supply chain. BioTrust will help AI labs, AI-bio tool developers, and gene synthesis providers decide which customers to trust with their most capable tools, enabling companies to accelerate legitimate research while raising standards for safe and responsible access to dual-use technology.

Over time, BioTrust’s platform will leverage network effects by working across providers to improve decisions and intercept misuse.

BioTrust is led by co-founders Jonas Sandbrink, Nick de Raad, and Kenan Kigunda. BioTrust was incubated at Sentinel and builds on our earlier work to validate the legitimacy of life science customers and make biosecurity KYC checks faster and cheaper.
