Planning a gift of $1M or more
If you are considering a gift of $1 million or more, please contact us before transferring funds. A short conversation with our leadership helps us complete our standard donor review up front and make sure the gift is set up as intended. Email gifts@sentinelbio.org.
Ways to give
Donor-advised fund (DAF)
- Log in to your DAF provider (Fidelity Charitable, DAFgiving360, Vanguard Charitable, Daffy, National Philanthropic Trust, etc).
- Search for Sentinel Bio Inc. or EIN 99-3068480.
- Under purpose, select general support / unrestricted (or “where most needed”). Unrestricted gifts are the most useful to us.
- Choose whether to share your name with us or give anonymously.
- Email gifts@sentinelbio.org with the amount, provider and expected date so we can match and acknowledge your grant. DAF grants can take 1 to 3 weeks to arrive.
Wire or ACH transfer
Email gifts@sentinelbio.org for wire instructions. For your security, we do not publish bank details online and will never change them by email. Please confirm instructions by phone before sending a large transfer.
Check
Make checks payable to Sentinel Bio Inc. and mail them to the address above. Include your email so we can send an acknowledgment.
Giving from outside the US
We welcome gifts from outside the US, though they are generally not tax-deductible in the donor’s home country. Please contact us at gifts@sentinelbio.org before donating.
After you give
- We send a written acknowledgment for every gift, suitable for US tax purposes. For DAF grants, this may go to your DAF provider.
- We review gifts under our gift acceptance policy before acknowledging them.
- We aim to list supporters on our website for transparency. If you would prefer to give anonymously, or be listed under a family fund or other name, please let us know.
