Independent public health researcher

We commissioned a $1,800 qualitative study to research the political drivers of pandemic prevention. The project focuses on the factors that underpin political will for pandemic preparedness policies, such as the credibility of specific ideas and stakeholders. This work is led by an independent researcher and is based on interviews with a dozen academics, civil servants, and think tank leaders.

We expect this research to inform our internal strategy for building the pandemic prevention ecosystem and our grantmaking in this area.
