Epoch AI

We provided Epoch AI with a $15,000 grant to expand their database of biological AI models with additional data annotations. Specifically, Epoch will add input and output type classifications to each of the 1,150+ models in their existing database – capturing both broad categories (such as amino acid sequences or molecular graphs) and precise data formats where available. This work builds on Epoch’s prior database releases supported by Sentinel Bio. We expect these enhanced annotations to improve the usability of the database for policymakers and researchers seeking to understand the technical landscape of biological AI tools.
