We provided $1,025 to an independent biosecurity researcher to examine Australia’s import control system for synthetic nucleic acids, assessing its implications for biosecurity and the life sciences industry.

We expect this research to inform how we think about global access controls for synthetic nucleic acids and other biological materials.
