We provided up to $10,000 to EHY Consulting LLC to support the development of a biosecurity playbook focused on improving coordination between nucleic acid synthesis providers and law enforcement when suspicious synthetic DNA orders are identified.

This coordination challenge is becoming increasingly urgent as rapid advances at the convergence of artificial intelligence and biotechnology accelerate the accessibility of biological design and synthesis. The playbook is designed to clarify roles, decision points, information flows, and escalation pathways, helping translate screening signals into real-world responses.
