Asia Centre for Health Security

We provided $400,000 to the Asia Centre for Health Security to expand the centre’s work on biosecurity in Asia, with a particular focus on nucleic acid synthesis, AIxBio governance, and regional biosecurity capacity building.

We expect this work to support progress towards implementing robust biosecurity policies across Asia’s major life science hubs and identify opportunities for reducing the risks of biotechnology accidents and misuse in Asia and beyond.
