Roadmap for nucleic acid governance in Europe<\/h4>\n

We provided Resilience Action Network International (rani), a fiscally sponsored project of Panorama Global, with $150,000 to research and develop a roadmap for nucleic acid governance policy in the European Union. This effort is led by Eloise Todd and is carried out in consultation with stakeholders in the biosecurity community, the nucleic acid synthesis industry, and contacts at relevant regional and national government bodies.<\/span><\/p>\n

We expect this project to clarify the potential mechanisms to govern nucleic acid synthesis at the EU- and national levels, lay the foundation for civil\u200b society advocacy, and build a coalition of credible proponents for responsible biotechnology and life science governance in Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n
